Library Ostiense is the product of 4 months in Rome and studying the local culture, customs and ultimately the architecture of the eternal city. The objective of the project was a masterplan that takes place along a major artery near the outskirts of Rome that converges with the Tiber river with the site of the project precisely where the two meet. Situated on what used the be a single storey restaurant, a garage and a gas station, we transformed the site into a communal hub and gathering space complete with a library, lecture hall, cafe, and a connection point to reflect on Rome's industrial past.

Term: 3B Work
Roles: Architecture Design and Graphic Representation
Location: Toronto, Ontario
During my time at CS+P architects I worked primarily on Tyndale University, which is a large renovation and addition project set to be completed over a 10 year span. I worked closely with the team developing a number of schemes and working out the details of a number of additions we are proposing including a new Atrium, Library, and Gym.
One of my main responsibilities included developing sets of renders and graphics to communicate our designs to clients and possible financiers.

The perfect vision of a chair and its components needs to chal- lenge the icon or the traditional idea of the chair to bring back the awareness to this mundane object. The intention is not merely to “deface” or to “vandalize” a chair but to renew its image and bring forth another dimension of its function and its place amongst its users. Despite the non-traditional nature of this chair it still must perform as well as any other and still maintain a high level of quality.
A chair designed to fit KAWS’s needs would need to represent and cater to all aspects of KAWS’s lifestyle and profession. As an artist, it must be able to be used as a tool to produce KAWS’s work but must be versatile enough to be a relaxing chair on its own. Above all else, it must bear the branding of KAWS and Original Fake and be a symbol for the brand within the world of “chairs”.

POP UP is a temporary structure which is used to be offer a unique experience to its users. The popularity of the bicycle as a viable method of transportation is slowly taking roots in cities such as Toronto however bike culture is not a topic of awareness within the general public. The intention was to design a Pop Up Bike Hub which would be used to raise awareness of bike culture and create a gathering space for urban cyclists to share their experiences and their love for the sport.

This is a project base in Toronto where we were given a site and asked to add a Gallery, a Theatre, an Artist Residence and an Office to the site while increasing the sites FAR to 5. Located in the downtown core of Toronto, the site possessed a number of characteristics that I found interested and used it to fuel the design of my intervention of the site.
